A professional bakers bread knife review.

I’m going to be honest here: I’m impressed. It’s a traditional bread saw that’s been redesigned and made in the UK.

I tried it out on a super crusty, ancient grain sourdough that I baked this morning. It sailed through with no issue and I was amazed at the even slice, especially given it was the first time I’d used it. Normally such an even slice takes me a little practice with a new knife!

I’m excited to try it out on the other end of the spectrum with some soft milk breads. I reckon, after using it today, that this wouldn’t be any issue for the JonoKnife – I get the impression that it won’t squish them. I’ll report back when I’ve tried!

Also, away from the functionality, the knife is really beautifully made! I’m totally here for the sleek look and easy feel in the hand. It’s a bit of a showstopper .
